Dear Valued Patient,

As you may be aware, Compounded GLP-1 medications have been available due to the ongoing FDA declaration that the commercial medications have been in a shortage situation. Essentially, since 2022, demand has been greater than supply. In December, the FDA declared Tirzepatide as no longer in a shortage situation. In February they made the same declaration about Semaglutide. The trade group Outsourcing Facilities Association (OFA) has filed a Federal lawsuit against the FDA and asked for an emergency injunction. Both of those injuctions have been denied by the courts. While the lawsuit is still pending, it appears that May 22nd, 2025 will be when compounders will have to cease taking new orders for Semaglutide. Tirzepatide was no longer allowed to be produced after March 19. We will be able to dispense what we have on hand and we made a large purchase to be able to take care of you. We are looking at several options going forward and will be transparent with everything. Please call with any questions you may have. Thank you.

GLP Pharmacy

Our compounded GLP-1 medications are obtained via a process established and monitored by the FDA.

When an FDA approved drug is on it's drug shortages list some federal law restrictions may be lifted, such as restrictions on compounding drugs that are essentially copies of approved drugs.

There are currently 57 503B facilities located in the United States. These facilities are all licensed and inspected by the FDA.

In October, the FDA recommended that any compounded GLP-1 medication be obtained from a state licensed pharmacy.

GLP Pharmacy is one of the most unique pharmacies in the United States.

We only carry 2 medications... Compounded Semaglutide and Compounded Tirzepatide.

We offer local pickup and will ship your prescription to your home or business.

No prior authorizations are needed since we aren't billing insurances.

Finally, there is a solution you and your doctor can trust from a Michigan licensed pharmacy owned by a licensed pharmacist!

Your health is our priority.

We take our role in your health very seriously. Come in today to see how we can help.
